Things that are closer this week, April 27th

What is really, really close right now is the beginning of the RWA Desert Dreams Writers Conference. In fact, I should be driving there within the hour. I will be blogging the highlights throughout the weekend. Keynote addresses by Allison Brennan and Bob Mayer will be featured in the conference, so stay tuned. In the meantime, happy reading!

Things that are closer this week, April 20

The Desert Dreams Writers Conference is just around the corner, and I am particularly excited because my novel, Artful Women, is a contest finalist! One of five books selected by attending agents and editors, the novel is about a 1920s Brazilian painter whose mysterious life comes to light when her correspondence in unearthed by an art student in present day Illinois. Fingers and toes crossed!

I am also very excited about the fact that this blog will very soon be linked to an awesome website featuring my work. Stay tuned for patricia-friedrich.com!
